Mom entered me in a Rally Obedience competition, so we are having a good time getting ready. Mom finished putting away all the stuff in the garage from the move so now we have lots of room to practice. She can set up cones and everything.
I really like it when we go to play in the garage because I have Mom all to myself just like in the good 'ol days. She says she likes working with me again because I am very focused. Mom says all I needed was a little competition to bring me back into the fold. Whatever that means?
Anyway Mom isn't talking about the Rally entry because she says it will jinx us. But I don't care I am having fun hanging out with my Mom!

Hey Russ, Boo here. Enjoy all of your time with your mom. I know just how you feel with having to share your mom all the time. At least you have it easy...it's just you and Shaker and Musey. I have to share with 6...yup count 'em 6 others, PLUS we have those 6 noisy squalling puppies that always demand attention (man those things are scary!! But that's another email). Everyone in the house here is attention starved. But, the good thing is that we each have our special "mom and dad time" and it helps. Lucky for me, I get them the longest because I'm the "Special"...I just tell the others that I'm MORE special than they are, so I get them longest. :o) Maybe you can work out a deal with your mom to get the same kind of attention (sometimes you just have to be obnoxious about it...I think you know how to do that). It sounds like the Rally thing is a good step in the right direction, although I'm not so sure about that sit and down thing. You KNOW I'm the big dog and never lower myself to those extremes!! ;o)

The garage! I never thought about using that space. What a good idea! A real duh moment for me.
